Alcohol prohibition in the U.S.: would our society will be better if alcohol is prohibed?

During the 1920’s alcohol was prohibited in the Unites States of America, manufacturer’s import and export of alcohol beverages was terminated. Prohibitions did not achieve its supposed goals; instead it added more problems to the U.S. the eighteen amendment was said and all exporting, importing, selling, manufacturing of alcohol was prohibited in January 16, 1920. The intention of the U.S was to reduce the consumption of alcohol beverages between the people of the country.
This act was considered a failure in a political view, because it change the way Americans started seeing alcohol. This made Americans think that what the government did was not always the right thing to do. It all started in the 1920’s when the American people accepted the act of the government for the prohibition of intoxicating alcohol. The prohibition in the U.S was done for many things; for example: to reduce crime and corruption, solve social problems, reduce tax burden created by prisons and poor houses, and also to improve health hygiene in America.
The government of the U.S was counting on the reduction of alcoholism, crime, social problems and to improve the health hygiene for citizens in the U.S. Instead everything was not going as predicted; for example: many alcohol businesses broke, many factories closed, many people who depended of alcohol were going crazy. Alcohol became an illegal substance in the U.S just like marijuana, and cocaine. Since alcohol was illegal its price doubled and even tripled; so one way to earn more money was selling alcohol, just like drugs now in the present. More mafia came into the U.S from all over the world; for example the Colombian cartel, Italian cartel, Chinese cartel, Mexican cartel, and also including some gangs from the U.S. This cartels increased more crimes in the cities, more gangs, and brought police corruption into the country.
Many countries started exporting and sending alcohol into the U.S for business. Since alcohol was much more expensive after it was prohibited, the business was better for the cartels. They were getting bigger so the income of money they received from alcohol increased, this brought to the enlarging of cartels. This process lasted for 13 years and during 1933 the U.S government realized that making alcohol illegal was a huge mistake. Because alcohol helped the economy in the U.S and many cartels were not only selling drugs as their many products, but they realized that alcohol was better since people consumed it more than drugs. During1933 it all ended and alcohol was legalized again to earn less troubles. Everyone in the United States realized that illegalizing alcohol was a project, that is was supposed to fix many things in the country. Instead it brought many problems to the U.S secure system and government.
The prohibitions of alcohol in the U.S was a huge mistake, because it brought many problems like more crimes, more gangsters, more cartels, more police corruptions, many businesses broke and because of that they started selling alcohol in illegal ways. The prohibition of alcohol was a huge mistake it started in 1920 and it ended 13 years later during 1933. Mafia was decreasing again and all the problems they got during 1920 to 1933 started ending. Alcohol can’t be prohibited in any country, an less in one where consume of it is huge, if a country decides to finish with alcohol it will happened the Same as it happened to U.S. because many people need alcohol in different occasions and some like it so much that they will consume it even though is illegal. We can conclude that alcohol is better to have it in a society.

Manchester City: new galactic team?

Manchester always has been delighted by its local football; even though there are two football teams of the city just one plays outstandingly, Manchester United, a team that has been 17 times champion of the Premier League, 11 of the FA Cup, 3 times of the UCL (UEFA Champions League) and has been the only English team to win the Intercontinental Cup. In the other hand we find the antagonist team of the city, Manchester City, “the citizens” have in their museum just 2 Premier League cups, 4 FA Cups, 2 Football League Cup and 1 European Cup, less than half compared to the United. Even though now days the club can’t compare to the “red devils” (United) in history, they can now do it with money, thanks to the new investment done by “Abu Dhabi Group for Development and Investment” a group who bought the entity in 247 million Euros. The new head of “the Sky Blues” is Sulaiman al-Fahim, nicked as the Donald Trump of Abu Dhabi, and who appears in the top 20 of the most powerful Arabs in the whole world. Sulaman affirms that between this year and the next one, his going to make Manchester City the finest team in whole Europe buying all the best players of the world.

The “citizens” already started their plan by bringing to the club one “galactic”, Robinho. Abu Dhabi’s firm paid to Real Madrid 42 million Euros so they could become owners of the player. The surprising thing was that Robinho had to choose between Manchester City and Chelsea, one of the best fc (football clubs) in the world, and at last hour decided leaving Madrid for Manchester when everything pointed that his feature was in Chelsea. Manchester also did incredible offers to various super-football-stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, to the one they were going to pay 170 million Euros (the highest offer that a team has done to another in football history), they also wanted the wrights of Kaka (120 million Euros), Buffon (80 million), Ronaldinho (50 million Euros), David Villa (90 million Euros), Fernando Torres (100 million Euros), Van Nisterooy (a blank check so Real Madrid could write the price they find convenient for him) Sergio Ramos, Benzema, Tevez, Terry, Cambiasso, Podolski, Afellay, Aguero, Mutu, etc. and believe me they will be more, but all denied the tempting offer.

All though the offers where extreme, I think the players didn’t leave their team because they don’t feel enough respect towards Manchester City, so they preferred to stay where they were. In football, almost always, money decides which are “good” and “bad” teams, but not always this, is the mayor influence. For many players there’s not only money there’s also glory, and any of these players saw glory in Manchester, but even though players don’t see glory, and don’t respect Manchester City there will be an offer so tempting that they would not denied to it. All football players have a price to the one they cant say “no”, and Abu Dhabi can write that price in a check without regretting it.

In my opinion, Manchester City in approximately 2 years will be the owner of the most expensive football team in the whole world.

Body and Soul

This relationship has been outlined for a lot of time and it continues being studied until today. The philosophers suppose this relationship like mutual, explaining that the soul is alone a light and simple thought and that the body is the opposite. The body is unable to think but it is extensive as it is not the soul. We can affirm this way that one is nonexistent without their partner.

Their People that don't believe in the concept of an existing soul. Then one could affirm a contradiction with the previous idea. People that dont believe in the soul are trying to suggest that the body doesn't need such a thing to be able to exist. From a visual point of view we could say that this opinion is quite right since if we don't see something there is not rational explanation so that something , is nonexistent. This thought has a strong base which comes of the philosophize Parmenides which said that the senses confuses us and that the best idea is to believe to the reason.

All this makes sense, but rational and scientific, since this trying to demonstrate, that the soul in fact is something that exists and not only is a figure of our imagination.

Returning to the philosophical thing, we can say that if there is soul because we are thinking beings and the body alone its unable to make. If we didn't have a soul we would be some errant masses without capacity of some reasoning. This is a simple way to explain the existence of the soul.

Without going into detail we can affirm that we have finished with this relationship but that us cannot know by the reason, or at least not for the time being, it is if the body thinks and we believe the opposite.

In conclusion we can say that the soul is an necessary element for the man's existence, without her we would not have the capacity to reason, or neither to socialize and to cohabit with the other ones. Alone, body without soul, we would be errant masses without any reasoning.

Human dignity

“What has price can be substituted by any equivalent thing, what is superior to all price and doesn't have equivalence, doesn't have price, has dignity” according to Kant being human doesn't have price and anything is equivalent to what we are. All human beigns have dignity without caring its mental state. Kant affirms that the man possesses a special dignity when, he has present a conscience of his freedom, of his anatomy and of his responsibility. This conscience forces us to be responsible with us and with the other ones and to claim responsibility of others towards one. According to Kant the dignity transforms us into people with right but also with responsibilities inside a society.
The teaching of Kant is right according to my approach, when affirming that the dignity is in all human being but that it is not the same thing in all. When a man is aware of his freedom, his dignity is different that the one that for example, a baby; since the man, when having this present he already has very clear which are his responsibilities inside a society and it is able to respond for him and for the other ones; on the other hand a baby is not able to have any type of responsibility, neither autonomy, but in all ways he has dignity because he doesn't have price and anything is equivalent to him.
My point of view apart from being sustained by that of Kant, also is sustained by the constitution or laws of most of the countries. Why can I affirm this?; each country when establishing the punishments for the break of its laws has to determine the punishment with regard to the mental development that has this person; for example if an adult commits a crime, its punishment can be jail or a fine, but if a boy or an adolescent commits the same crime, the punishment could be the jail, but is sentence will be minimum compared to the one of the adult, same with the fine, the minor even could just receive an admonishment; it could also happen that the one that breaks law has mental problems and his punishment won't be the jail but a hospital.
In conclusion the human dignity is present in all us but it is determined by the conscience that has the person of their freedom and the limits that bears this, so people that have an approach of decision enough developed are those that have a “bigger” dignity.

World War III?

Some experts say that if wwIII begins it will be catastrophic, and they affirm that the next one will be with sticks and stones.

We are not far of the worst war of human history, and the one that will finish with a significant percentage of worlds population.

Like many of we, now theres a war in course because of the russian invasion to Georgia, these could be the detonator of the second part of the cold war, having as consequence wwIII. To see if these can lead us to wwIII we will have to understand the problem since its beginning.

Georgia was conformed by south Osetia and by Abjasia, but also by his other cities. Osetia and Abjasia were trying to be independent countries since the beggining of the 90's, but tension restarted when Mijali Saakashvili became president of Georgia trying to reunificate the country because his army was strong enough to dominate this other two countries. Georgia invaded south Osetia in august to reintegrated to it, and just in one day they controlled Osetias capital. Meanwhile Russia send troops to defend Osetia, but they also bombarded Georgia and invaded their limits. Russia took these decisions because in Osetia their many russian citizens. These is just the start of what it will be a ferocious war.

I can affirm this statement for various reazons, first of all the decisions made from Russia have many influence from Vladimir Putin the prime minister of these country, that is a loyal "fan" of the communism regime, these can make us think that Russia wants to reactivate the communism popularity all around the world just like in the cold war. Another reason is that Georgia is trying to be part of the OTAN, this mostly is because Georgia wants to be defended from Russia by this organization. If Georgia becomes a member of the OTAN it will have a total backup from them, so war will be even worst. USA plans to intervene, but maybe later because of their internal problems. If my predictions are correct in less than 2 years a nuclear war will start facing again two old enemies, communism and capitalism.
